I'm Cheryl, a fantasy and romantasy reader based in the Netherlands, writing in English for an international audience. I'm also a published author myself (a business book), so I know exactly how much work goes into getting a book into readers' hands.

I'm still early in this journey, a small but genuinely engaged following, and I review every book I finish with the same honesty I'd want as a reader: what worked, what didn't, and who it's actually for.

02 What I offer

I write full reviews here on my blog, with as little spoilers as I possible can. It's important to me that people know enough to get curious and want to read it themselves, but also form their own opinion about a book. That way, a review can always be honest and almost fully spoiler free.

I'm not a "TikTok made be buy it" person. Ofcourse there are books I have thanks to TikTok. And yes, I did start getting into a lot of books thanks to TikTok, but I'm always on the lookout for books that are not so big yet. For authors that deserve as much spotlight as the "big ones".

I also post different types of posts, reels and reviews on my Instagram and TikTok account.

I am not a very fast reader, but I always finish a book no matter what. I'm also very honest and will not sprinkle fairy dust on something that doesn't need or "deserves" that.
